Myomodulators (Greek: mys - muscle, Latin: modulare - to adjust), like Botox, are injectable treatments that work by relaxing facial muscles and preventing their overactivity. These products contain purified neurotoxins (in our opinion, a more correct name would be "neuromodulators") that target and block signals between nerves and muscles, thereby reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles, such as wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes (known as "laugh lines"), between the eyebrows, and many others.
We prefer to use the name miomodulator instead of neurotoxin because we want to emphasize the positive and beneficial effect of the treatment on the facial muscles. While the word "neurotoxin" may sound scary because of its "toxin" connotation, myomodulators accurately describe what these products actually do – help regulate muscle activity to reduce wrinkles and achieve natural results.
When injected into specific muscles, myomodulators temporarily reduce their activity, which prevents the formation of new wrinkles and reduces the visibility of existing ones. The treatment is quick , virtually painless , and provides natural results without losing your expressiveness.

05. Does the treatment with toxins hurt?
Toxin treatment lasts only 5 minutes and is almost painless. A few drops of the toxin are injected with a tiny needle into the muscle causing the wrinkles. We offer anesthesia cream at no extra charge for those with sensitive skin.
04. How long does the toxin last?
The effects of the toxins typically last for 3-4 months (although different brands may vary slightly in duration). As muscle activity gradually returns, wrinkles begin to reappear. We recommend treatments at least twice a year, or every 6 months, although many patients prefer to come in every 3-4 months for optimal results.
03. Which areas can be treated with toxins?
Toxins for smoother skin

Toxins for headaches and jaw pain (TMJ)
Botox is also approved for headache relief and is very effective in reducing jaw pain caused by clenching and grinding your teeth. By relaxing the muscles involved in chewing, we can alleviate the discomfort.
Toxins for excessive sweating
Reduce excessive sweating by blocking the nerve signals that activate the sweat glands. The toxins can provide relief for several months in areas such as the armpits, palms, or feet.
02. How many units do I need?
Each area of the upper face (frown lines, forehead, or wrinkles around the eyes) usually requires about 20 units of Botox.
Different brands of toxins count units differently—which can be confusing!
